We were honored and delighted to accept the invitation of the University of Piraeus to present the history of Ralleio Gymnasium and Lyceum, as well as the European and international programs of Ralleio Lyceum, during the welcome event for the participants of the international scientific conference entitled "Statistical Modeling with Applications: A Conference in Honor of Professor Markos V. Koutras." The conference was organized by the Department of Statistics and Insurance Science of the University.
The event took place on Friday, 26 September 2025, at the auditorium of our school. English teacher and coordinator of the European and international programs at Ralleio Lyceum, Katerina Christodoulou, presented the history of the school since its founding 170 years ago, along with its diverse initiatives at local, national, European, and international levels. These initiatives are carried out through the voluntary efforts and dedication of the school’s teaching staff.
Such activities have played a key role in shaping the school’s extroverted identity and holistic educational culture. As a result, they have enabled dozens of free mobility opportunities for both teachers and students across Europe, from the 1990s to the present day.
