On Monday, March 17, 2025, C class students (Economics and ICT) visited the University of Piraeus as part of their Principles of Economic Theory course. The learning objectives were to provide information about the field of Economics, give the students a clear understanding of the subject matter of economic studies, and inform them about career prospects in the economic sector and the professional requirements of the field.
The students had the opportunity to attend a presentation by Mr. Andronikos Kaliris, Career and Education Advisor at the University, who provided a comparative overview of the University's Departments and informed the students about the courses offered by each Department. In his presentation, Mr. Kaliris also highlighted the departments that lead to immediate career opportunities.
Professor Pavlos Eirinakis from the Department of Industrial Management and Technology described the professional opportunities provided by his department.
The students were accompanied by their teachers, Mr. N. Panagiotopoulos and Ms. A. Haida.
