On Friday, February 21st, our school had the honor of hosting Deputy Prosecutor Anastasia Berberi who B’ and C’ class Humanities about the professional field of Law, its role in contemporary societies, and the job opportunities it offers.
The main objectives of the activity were to inform students about the field of Law, provide in-depth understanding of legal studies, the functioning of the judicial system, and the role of prosecutorial authorities, as well as to inform them about career prospects in the legal profession and the demands of the profession. Additional goals included fostering critical thinking skills (through the development of analysis, argumentation skills, and the connection between theoretical knowledge and real life), strengthening students’ democratic values (through insights into the rule of law, the legal system, human rights, and justice in society), encouraging dialogue and participation in public affairs through constructive dialogue, and linking theory to practice.
This activity provided an opportunity for students to explore the world of Justice and clarify any questions they had about the legal profession.
The event was coordinated by Greek Language teacher Andromahi Siambani.
