ΡΑΛΛΕΙΟ ΓΕΝΙΚΟ ΛΥΚΕΙΟ ΘΗΛΕΩΝ ΠΕΙΡΑΙΑ - 6th School and Youth Conference ?Historical Schools as Carriers of the Universal Greek Spirit"

Ralleio Geniko Peiramatiko Lykeio and Gymnasium Thileon Pirea took part in the 6th SCHOOL AND YOUTH CONFERENCE ?HISTORICAL GREEK SCHOOLS AS CARRIERS OF THE UNIVERSAL GREEK SPIRIT? which was organized by Nea Genia Ziridi Private Schools, Athens and the historical greek community schools in Istanbul and Cairo Patriarchical Megali Sxoli (?OZEL FENER RUM LISESI?) and Ambeteios Sxoli .

The Conference was held in the Old Parliament House in Athens on 21 and 22 January 2011. The conference was held under the auspices of the Sacred Archbishop of Athens, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning and Religious Affairs. The title of the presentation of Ralleio Geniko Peiramatiko Lykeio and Gymnasium Thileon Pirea was ?Ralleia Schools: 155 years of history and offering to the society?. It was read by 2 Lykeio students Ms Minaidi Stella and Ms Tyri Refaela and 3 Gymnasium students, Ms Antoniadi Maria, Ms Nikolaou Dionysia and Ms Tzitzi Antonia-Alexandra.

The text of the presentation was written by Ms Penelope Kapelari (Greek Language Teacher) and Ms Aikaterini Christodoulou (EFL Teacher) from Ralleio Lykeio and Ms Aikaterini Arathymou (Greek Language Teacher) from Ralleio Gymnasium. The visual presentation was prepared by Mr Dimitrios Agelidakis (Information Technology Teacher) who was aided by Mr Panagiotis Charatzopoulos and Mr Panagiotis Markopoulos, Science Teachers. The work was coordinated by Ms Aikaterini Christodoulou (EFL Teacher) and supervised by Dr Charalambos Babounis, Professor of Modern Greek History in the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education of the University of Athens.
