Ralleio Erasmus+KA1 project “CULT: Sustaining and empowering our school culture” (2023-1-EL01-KA122-SCH-000115245) was presented at the central dissemination event organized by the European & International Programs Office of the Directorate of Secondary Education of Piraeus on the 18th of October in the framework of the pan European celebrations ERASMUS DAYS 2024.
CULT was presented by Ralleio European & International Programs Coordinator Ms Katerina Christodoulou (EFL Teacher). In her intervention, Ms Christodoulou referred to project’s concept and expected results by placing particular focus on Ralleio holistic extrovert school culture to be sustained and empowered through the project. This culture is depicted in the actions, activities and projects designed and implemented by groups of volunteer Ralleio teachers in the framework of co-funded European and international projects and of Sustainable School Indicators: participation in European networks, competitions, contests and plenary events, numerous national environmental, cultural and wellbeing student projects, events, synergies with local, national, regional and international partner organizations, Ralleio recycling station, 6 theatrical performances, 1 pan European prize awarded student film, Ralleio Solidarity Team, 18 Biology Conferences, 3 Comenius projects, 6 Erasmus+KA2 projects, 3 Erasmus+KA1 projects, 2 international UNESCO Pilot Projects, and, last but not least, dozens of funded mobilities for Ralleio teachers and students.
In the framework of the event, 10 Piraeus schools presented their Erasmus+ projects. In addition, the University of Piraeus participated with the presentation of Jean Monnet project MOTIVATE: Motivating Teachers4Europe and its microlearning platform for teachers by Professor Ms Foteini Asderaki. Sustainable School was presented by Ralleio Junior High School Director Dr D. Kalaitzidis.
Ms Christodoulou’s intervention was warmly welcome by all the attendees who expressed positive comments and posed questions regarding Ralleio holistic extrovert school culture and the design and implementation of versatile activities within its framework.
